are like portraits
the blooms vibrant, but composed,
stationary

this afternoon's roses
are in motion
petals in the wind like wings
on a bending stem

    Coincidence. We spent today at the Texas Oncology Infusion floor. About 10am someone there for their final treatment brought a dozen red/orange stem roses. 1st time we've seen that there since we've been going last ... hmmm April?
